One of our partners, International Justice Mission just celebrated their 15th anniversary this month with the opening of their 15th field office in Pampanga, the Philippines. They began with a vision of putting together a small group of investigators, lawyers, and social workers in 1997 who would stand to defend victims of violence who have been abused in the most horrific way.
"15 years ago, IJM began in response to one massive problem: poor children and families around the world desperately needed a defender.
Today, because of your partnership, we have thousands of reasons to celebrate – from girls rescued from brothels, to families freed from slavery; from traffickers and rapists held accountable to justice systems changing to protect the poor.
